Richard L. Faunce passed peacefully on June 5, 2021. He was born in Toledo on January 22, 1945, to the late Jack and Virginia (Eikost) Faunce. Rich was a member of the 1963 graduating class of Macomber High, a longtime Point Place resident, a veteran of the U.S. Army and retired from Faunce MFG. Rich loved the outdoors, fishing, sailing, golfing and ice boating. He was a lifetime member of Toledo Ice Yacht Club and a past commodore, as well as a member of the Point Place Legion Post No. 110.

He also was preceded in death by his wife, Suzanne (Moores) Faunce. He is survived by his son, Terry (Janelle) Faunce, and two grandchildren, Claudia and Madeline; brothers, Jack and Barry (Sandy Szych) Faunce and loving companion Cheri Pollauf.

A celebration of life was held at noon on Thursday, June 10, at David R. Jasin-Hoening Funeral Home, 5300 N. Summit Street, Toledo, with visitation prior to the service. Burial with military honors followed in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park, Toledo.
