OHP releases results of six-state interdiction

The Ohio Highway Patrol joined forces recently with members of the Six-State Trooper Project to focus on criminal patrol and drug interdiction. During the project, 55 individuals in Ohio were issued citations, including 46 for drugs and nine for illegal weapons.

County engineer’s office receives grant for roundabout

The Lucas County engineer’s office has been awarded a federal grant for construction of a new roundabout at Bancroft Street and King Road in Sylvania and Springfield townships. The project will involve removal of the existing traffic signal at the intersection, updated drainage, sidewalks and construction of a roundabout.
