The Ohio Highway Patrol joined forces recently with members of the Six-State Trooper Project to focus on criminal patrol and drug interdiction.
During the project, 55 individuals in Ohio were issued citations, including 46 for drugs and nine for illegal weapons.
The OHP enforcement effort included the Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Pennsylvania and West Virginia state police departments.
