Penta Career Center adjusts schedule due to pandemic
Like districts throughout Ohio, Penta Career Center has been forced to modify its in person student learning in response to an increase in cases of COVID-19.
At the November 11 board meeting, Superintendent Ed Ewers said the district has gone from four days on campus to a hybrid learning model after quarantining nine staff and isolating 159 students.
He pointed out that while the career center is doing everything possible to keep everyone safe, “three of the five counties [served by Penta] are in the red and others are high incidence.”
