New artificial turf installed at RHS stadium
Artificial turf is the newest star in the Rossford High School Jackson-Ferguson stadium. Maumee Bay Turf Center was the contractor for the project, which cost more than $3 million, according to Matt Thompson, district communications specialist. The turf is the same product used by 14 NFL teams and at four Super Bowls. The synthetic playing surface will make its official debut when the RHS football team hosts Swanton on Friday, August 30, at 7 p.m.
