Local officials have limited authority over installations
During the past several years, the front yards of residents throughout the Toledo area have become home to new small cell wireless facilities.
The boxes and poles are installed seemingly without much regard for the beauty of the neighborhood or concerns of homeowners.
The City of Rossford has approved about seven permits for the devices that provide wireless signals throughout the community, according to Mark Zuchowski, zoning inspector.
