Metroparks Toledo commissioners receive programming update
At the May 10 meeting, the Metroparks Toledo commissioners received an update on programming from Shannon Hughes, strategic manager of programming and interpretation, and Matt Killam, director of marketing /programming.
Ms. Hughes said the goal is to find programs that connect people to places and experiences at the parks.
Mr. Killam noted they are continuing to work on understanding their target audience and user needs. When selecting programming, staff looks at quality over quantity, he explained, and are always auditing programs to see which ones are the best attended.
