Mayor announces police reforms, releases audio from protest
Toledo Mayor Wade Kapszukiewicz announced two reforms for the Toledo Police Department.
Toledo police will no longer use military-style camouflage, and the police internal affairs division will be moved out of the Safety Building into One Government Center, Suite 1900, on August 3.
Additionally, the mayor added that the investigation into reports of police officers allegedly injuring peaceful protestors during a Black Lives Matter protest in downtown on May 30 will be completed by the end of July.
