District schools earn ‘distinguished’ honor
Washington Junior High and Jefferson Junior High were each recognized as a Project Lead The Way (PLTW) Distinguished School for work in the PLTW Gateway program.
They are two of only 176 middle schools across the nation to receive this honor.
PLTW is a nonprofit organization that serves millions of pre-kindergarten through 12th grade students and teachers in more than 12,200 schools across the country.
