Fond memories of bygone Christmases
The members of city council and the school board work hard on behalf of the city, schools and people they love. The Journal wanted to give them an opportunity to share something dear to them.
Here, then, are some memories of Christmases gone by.
City of Perrysburg
A favorite memory is reading the note Santa would leave thanking the Mackins for the cookies and carrots we had left out for him and his reindeer. Santa had a very sarcastic sense of humor. He also would sketch a portrait of himself or the reindeer. (Should have kept those notes.)

I have wonderful memories of my two sons playing solos or duets together during the prelude at our church service on Christmas Eve. They began doing so in fifth grade and continued playing in church for many years. Watching as a proud mom was very special each Christmas season.
