Dedication, resolve amid global pandemic

As the coronavirus seeks strongholds throughout the world, including here in Perrysburg, teachers are being asked to be creative, adaptive, patient, compassionate and organized, among other verbs. They’ve had to move out of the classroom and into their homes to conduct classes online, by phone and through email.

“It’s definitely a challenge,”said Traci Morgan, a seventh grade math teacher at Perrysburg Junior High School. “We’re kind of making it up as we go along; it doesn’t matter how many years you’ve been teaching, in this situation, everyone’s a first year teacher.”
