Leona Jean Eikost, 86, formerly from Point Place, Fort Myers, Florida, and most recently Northwood, Ohio, passed away on Monday, July 12. She was preceeded in death by her husband, Clarence Jr.; son, Eric, and grandson, Scott.

James Robert Tierney “Catlow,” 71, passed away suddenly in Surprise, Arizona, Friday, December 13, 2019. He was born to James T. Tierney and Angela I. (Smith) Tierney of 106th Street, on August 29, 1948. He has one brother, Timothy Tierney, and one sister, Jan Marie Usher.

Denise Lynn Bajas, 63, of Point Place passed away on Sunday morning, June 20, 2021, at ProMedica Toledo Hospital. Denise passed following a hard battle with cancer, and like the warrior she was, she fought until the very end.

It is with deep sadness we say so long to our beloved Mother, Diane Jockett, decades long resident of Point Place Shoreland area. She passed peacefully on June 18, 2021, after a long battle with heart disease.

Timothy James Tierney was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and a great friend. He was a police officer, veteran and cowboy action shooter. Tim departed this world suddenly on June 10, 2021, at the age of 65.

Verna L. Rose, 86, of the Point Place community, of Toledo, passed away on Friday, June 4, 2021, at her home.

Richard L. Faunce passed peacefully on June 5, 2021. He was born in Toledo on January 22, 1945, to the late Jack and Virginia (Eikost) Faunce. Rich was a member of the 1963 graduating class of Macomber High, a longtime Point Place resident, a veteran of the U.S. Army and retired from Faunce MFG. Rich loved the outdoors, fishing, sailing, golfing and ice boating. He was a lifetime member of Toledo Ice Yacht Club and a past commodore, as well as a member of the Point Place Legion Post No. 110.

James William Limes Sr., age 72, resident of Toledo, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 26, 2021, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio. He was born on March 1, 1949, to the late Jack Evi and Virginia Mary (Morelock) Limes.

Teddy Leon “Capt. Ted” Ackley Jr., 60, of the Point Place community of Toledo, passed away at his home, on Wednesday, May 26, 2021.

Robert J. Kodysh, 36, of Bowling Green, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, May 4, 2021, at Mercy St.
