Theodore (Ted) LaCourse died peacefully on January 9, 2022. Ted was born on September 4, 1932, to George Francis Heintschel and Geraldine Ada Mominee in Oregon, Ohio. After his father’s death, his mother married Albert LaCourse, who then adopted Ted and his brother and sisters.

She had a special place in her heart for the downtrodden and those who were not treated fairly. She had little time for “know-it-all loud mouths”–people who thought they had all of the answers; ∏everyone else was al ways welcomed!

Zonetta “Zonie” A. Estrel, 87, of Toledo, passed away on Thursday, January 6, 2022, at her home. She was born November 9, 1934, in Wayne County, West Virginia, to Wetzel and Freda (Brumfield) Thacker.

Harold Franklin Stoll, age 81, passed away Saturday, December 11, 2021, at his residence in Point Place. He was born February 23, 1940, to Merril F. Stoll and Janet A. Taylor in Toledo. Harold was a 1960 graduate of Waite High School and went on to join the U.S. Navy, November 30, 1959. After the Navy he went to work for Interlake Steel on Front Street, and then Toledo Edison where he retired.

Gerald “Jerry” R. Beale Sr., 84, of Toledo, Ohio, left this Earth to be with his heavenly father on November 22, 2021. Born to William and Faye Beale on May 8, 1937, Jerry grew up in East Toledo in the Birmingham neighborhood and graduated from Waite High School in 1955.

Kay Lousie Zaleski, born in Toledo, Ohio, on September 23, 1971, to Gregory and Harriett Zaleski, passed away on November 20, 2021, while surrounded by family at the ProMedica Ebeid Hospice Center. Kay was preceded in death by her father (Gregory) and is survived by her mother, Harriett; fiancé, Edward; daughter, Alex; son, Tanner, and the countless friends and students she has touched throughout her life.
