BERNADETTE “BERNIE” TOMESEK-SINGLER

Bernadette “Bernie” Tomesek-Singler, self-proclaimed Queen of Point Place, passed away at the age of 87, on Wednesday, January 29, 2020. Bernie, born February 17, 1932, was raised in the Catholic faith in the Hungarian neighborhood (Birmingham) of Toledo, and was an alumni of St. Ursula Academy, class of 1951. She married John Tomesek in 1954, and settled down in Point Place in 1960 to raise their three children.

James E. “Hoppy” Hopkins, age 80, passed away Friday, December 20, 2019, at Alexis Gardens. He was born September 17, 1939, in Marion, Ohio. James proudly served his country in the U.S.
