Mercy Health’s mobile mammography unit has visits scheduled throughout the region in December. The mobile mammography unit is customized for patient convenience and will deliver 3D mammograms to women age 40 and older.

Cookie walk to support Toledo Helps Ukraine

Toledo Helps Ukraine will be hosting a cookie walk on Saturday, December 9, from 9 a.m. to noon at Owens Community College, Heritage Hall, room 23 A/B. The event will offer hundreds of homemade holiday cookies, plus kolachy and nut rolls for sale. Cookies are $10 for a dozen, and all proceeds go to support the work of Toledo Helps Ukraine.

City of Toledo extends registration period for snow plow operators

The City of Toledo division of road and bridge maintenance is extending the registration period for snow plow owners/operators. As the winter season approaches, the city is in need of snow plow vehicles to join the team to ensure safe and accessible residential streets during heavy snow conditions.

Christmas at the Cabin is December 8, 9 at Fulton County Fairgrounds

The Museum of Fulton County will host Christmas at the Cabin, at the Fulton County Fairgrounds, Friday, December 8 and Saturday, December 9. Families can enjoy hands-on activities, holiday treats, meet Santa and more. Event hours are 5 to 8 p.m. on Friday and 4 to 8 p.m. on Saturday. Reservations are not required and admission is $15 per car.

28th annual caroling in the park Dec. 3

Friendship Park Community Center will host caroling in the park on Sunday, December 3, starting at 6 p.m. This is a 28-year tradition at the center. All are welcome to come and kick off the holiday season. It is free for the whole family, and no registration is required.
