Eggnog is a rich and delicious beverage that has become synonymous with the most festive time of year. This milk- and egg-based concoction is tasty on its own, or it can be dressed up with other flavors and spiked with a favorite spirit when celebrating the holiday season with other adult partygoers.

With 2023 quickly winding down, Better Business Bureau has once again compiled its naughty list of the top 12 Scams of Christmas.

The Museum of Fulton County will host Christmas at the Cabin, at the Fulton County Fairgrounds, Friday, December 8, and Saturday, December 9. Families can enjoy hands-on activities, holiday treats, meet Santa and more. Event hours are from 5 to 8 p.m. on Friday and 4 to 8 p.m. on Saturday. Reservations are not required and admission is $15 per car.

Children’s Wonderland opens Friday, December 8 at Sylvania Tam-O-Shanter, 7060 Sylvania Avenue. An area tradition for more than 50 years, the event features dozens of classic exhibits, train rides and pictures with Santa. Salem Grace United Lutheran Church will host its annual live nativity for the community. Guests are invited to the church, 216 Main Street, Luckey, on Saturday, December 9, from 6 to 8 p.m.

The Victory Center will expand to a third location. The new satellite location will be inside the ProMedica Defiance Regional Hospital, 1200 Ralson Avenue, Defiance.

Heritage Holiday is scheduled for Saturday, December 9, from 1 to 4 p.m., at the Wood County Park District’s Carter Historic Farm. The event is free to attend.
