Volunteers are needed to free trees from protective tubing in the restored wetland at Carter Historic Farm. The tubes protected 5,000 small trees when they were first planted and need to be removed to allow the trees to flourish.

One year later, this initiative has not only filled a gap in mental health services but has also reshaped the approach to youth mental health care in the community.

Point Place Business Association will award several scholarships this spring, to high school seniors in the Point Place/Shoreland area. The number of scholarships will be determined by the donations made to the scholarship fund.
