Napoleon darts past Springfield in week two clash
The modified schedule implemented this year did not do any favors for the Blue Devils as they faced off in their second home game against another Northern Lakes League frontrunner in Napoleon.
After a few middling years, the Wildcats have emerged with a strong senior class and continued experience in their grinding system, things that all showed quite apparently as they toppled the Blue Devils 49-21 on the first Friday in September.
As has been the case since entering the NLL, the Wildcats aren’t ones to try anything too fancy, yet they certainly aren’t afraid to compete with the rest of the conference’s much larger schools. And with the wealth of experience they bring in 2020, their always tough running attack proved even more potent on this evening.
