On July 29, the Springfield Township Fire Department IAFF Local 3544 presented Firefighter Shelbie Flegal and her K-9 Darwin, a human remains detection dog, with a Garmin/Alpha 100 tracking collar valued at $850. Firefighter Flegal is a member of Black Swamp Search and Rescue, a group that helps find lost or missing persons along with deceased missing victims.
