Eugene Joseph “Joe” Beaudoin Jr. died Sunday, July 11, 2010, in his home. He was born on December 20, 1947, to Bonnie Jean (Barnhart) and Eugene Beaudoin Sr. in Toledo, and lived in Point Place/North End his entire life. He attended Edgewater Elementary and Point Place Junior High School, then moved to Suder Avenue and attended Whitmer schools. He worked for Midwest Finishing Products, Ottawa Lake, Michigan, until it closed. He had previously worked at Toledo Spring on North Cove and Rolled Alloys in Erie, Michigan. He was an usher at the University of Toledo football and basketball games and special events. He was an avid Rocket fan and Ohio State Football fan. He enjoyed boating, fishing and camping. Mr. Beaudoin was an avid bingo player in Point Place and East Broadway. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Marsha; sons, Kevin and Brian; brothers, Dan (Faye) and Greg (Pam); sister, Kathy (Randy) Spohn; father-inlaw, Chester Pfaff, and sisters- in-law, Cindy Pfaff- Baum and Nadine Pfaff. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother-in-law, Larry Pfaff, and mother-inlaw, Sofie (Mazur) Pfaff. Funeral services were held Friday, July 16, in the David R. Jasin-Hoening Funeral Home, with the Rev. James Van Brussel officiating. Interment was in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park. Memorial donations may be made to the University of Toledo or to an organization of the donor’s choice. Nancy Jo Horn, 60, died Thursday, July 8, 2010, at home. She was born in Toledo, to Billy and Pauline (Bailey) Gullion. She worked for United Airlines for 41 years. She is survived by her husband of 28 years, Robert; daughter, Billie Jo; sisters, Linda (Doug) Sibbersen and Peggy (Philip) LaZette, and grandchild, Briley. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Larry. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are being made by the David R. Jasin- Hoening Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice. JUNE MARKWOOD Jeffery “Jeff” Alan Braden, 58, of Perrysburg, died Thursday, July 1, 2010, in St. Luke’s Hospital. He was born to John and Josephine (Welty) Braden on July 26, 1951, in Toledo. He was a personnel consultant for Renhill for many years. He also was the owner/operator of the Huron Market. Mr. Braden was an avid fan of the Detroit Tigers and Red Wings. He enjoyed spending time with his family. He is survived by his mother, Josephine “Jo” Braden-Meyer; siblings, Jackie Reno, Joe (Annette) Braden, Patty (Bob) Alexander and Melinda Braden; 12 nieces and nephews; 24 great-nieces and great-nephews, and special friend, Sue Keeling- Old. He was preceded in death by his father, John Braden, in 1965, and brother, Douglas Braden, in 1988. A memorial service to celebrate of Mr. Braden’s life was held Saturday, July 10, at Zoar Lutheran Church, Perrysburg, with the Rev. Ann Marshall officiating. Arrangements were made by the David R. Jasin- Hoening Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Arthritis Foundation. Jeff Matney, 50 of Point Place, died June 15, 2010, at St. Ann’s. He was born and raised in Toledo, and a life-long resident of Point Place. He was a 1977 graduate of Woodward High School. Mr. Matney enjoyed fishing, horse racing at Race Way Park, spending time at Cullen Park in Point Place watching the ships and other boaters. He also enjoyed music, playing his guitar and spending time with his family, especially his nieces and nephews. He is survived by his mother, Dolly; brothers, Jerry and Tim; sisters, Kathy and Karen; nieces, Amanda, Ashley and Cierra, and nephew, Bryce. He was preceded in death by his father, Earl Matney. The family will be having a private ceremony. STELLA RAWLINS OMA GARNER Alice L. Henry, 81, of Toledo, and formerly of Leavittsburg, Ohio, died Monday, June 28, 2010, in Toledo. She was born October 2, 1928, in Lordstown, Ohio, to John and Phyllis Powell-Ferry. She graduated in 1946 from Fowler High School. She married Raymond Henry on April 18, 1953. She was a member of the Leavittsburg Church of the Nazarene. She was a notary public with the State of Ohio for more than 30 years and also worked for three years as a deputy registrar with the State of Ohio Motor Vehicle. She was a past treasurer and member since 1984 of TOPS Leavittsburg Chapter #1353. In her earlier years, she sang and played the guitar in a local band. Ms. Henry enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, watching NASCAR racing, especially Jeff Gordon, and Jeopardy. She is survived by her daughters, Marjorie (John) Webster of Twinsburg, Ohio, Darlene (Michael) Martin of El Dorado Hills, California, Phyllis Shepherd of Leavittsburg, Debbie (Mark) Stishan of Warren, and Gloria (Gary) Stishan of Champions Gate, Florida; son, Thurman (Amy) Henry of Toledo; 14 grandchildren; 15 greatgrandchildren; sister, Violet Speelman of Pennsylvania, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond; brother, Dwight Ferry; sister, Ila Sprankle; half brothers, Alton and Denton Ferry, and son-inlaw, Robert Shepherd. CHARLOTTE MOTTER MARY PARTIN-WILLARD MARILYN VANDOCK Marvin L. Myers, 70, died Monday, June 14, 2010, in St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center. He was born to George and Pearl (Wheeler) Myers in Toledo. He worked as a carpenter for many years for Schlaghter/Nauman before retiring. He served in the U.S. Army. Mr. Myers was a member of the American Legion Pond Post #99, the North Toledo Arrow Club and enjoyed fishing, golfing and going to casinos with his cousins. He is survived by his daughter, Gina Myers; grandchildren; mother, Pearl Myers; sister, Marlene (Monte) Flemmings, and several cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, George Myers and daughter, Rebecca Myers. Funeral services were held Saturday, June 19, in the David R. Jasin-Hoening Funeral Home, with the Rev. Virginia Elizabeth Mlotzek, 86, of the Point/Shoreland community, died Saturday, June 12, 2010. She was born to Albert and Renie (Ainsworth) Brightman in Toledo. She belonged to the Christian Fellowship Church in Erie, Michigan, for many years. She taught Sunday school and played the organ at church and also held Bible study groups in her home. She also taught ceramics, was treasurer at both St. John the Baptist School and J. Schur School Mothers Clubs and also was a Brownie and Girl Scout leader over the years. She also cooked for the Ursuline Sisters of St. John’s. Ms. Mlotzek is survived by her children, Barbara (Jerry) Owens, Joanne Miller, Patricia (Bill) Wagener, John (Cathy) Mlotzek and James Mlotzek; grandchildren, Joseph (Sandra) Owens, Jeffrey (Joni) Owens, Sandra Owens, Lori (Chris) Tober, Dawn (Jim) Russell, Raymond Miller, Kelly Pendrey, Tracy (Phil) Kowyna, Ronnie (Tommy) Wolfe and Ryan Mlotzek; 16 great-grandchildren; sister- in-law, Janice Brightman, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph, in 1979. She also was preceded in death by her granddaughter and her husband, Jenny (Rob) Melton, and brothers, Theodore and Francis Brightman. Gauthier, 81, of Point Place, died Saturday, June 12, 2010, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio Perrysburg Center. She was born in Toledo, to Leo and Irene (Drouillard) Nagel. She sang for many years as a youngster for radio on WSPD for the Uncle Jules radio program during the 1930s and 1940s. She continued singing throughout her years at Central Catholic High School in their operettas. She worked for many years at the Bureau of Unemployment for the State of Ohio then for seven years at Dana Corporation as an employment specialist in the human resource department. She enjoyed reading and gardening. Mrs. Gauthier is survived by her husband of 45 years, John Gauthier; daughters, Mary (Sherry) Wening, Kimberly (Joey) Maros, and Laura Juhasz; brother, Scott (Anne) Nagel, seven nieces and nephews, along with her extended family, Tom and April Hanus and their children, Brandon, Colton and Drew. Fulmer, 91, of Toledo, died Sunday, June 13, 2010, while at the Lutheran Home at Toledo. She was born in 1919, in Toledo, to John and Ila (Bramsch) Moll. She worked for four years in the office for Roose & Co., and was a homemaker. She also was a life member of Salem Lutheran Church and Altar Guild. She is survived by her son, William (Beth) Fulmer; grandchildren, Jill Haar, Erika (Clint) Cole and Jeremy (Annie) Fulmer U.S.N.; son-in-law, Marvin Haar, and great-grandchildren; Taylor and Hannah Fulmer. She was born on September 2, 1925, to Joseph and Marie (Majewski) Aumiller in Toledo. She married William Egan on February 15, after dating for only two weeks. She was homemaker who enjoyed cooking and baking, and watching her afternoon “stories” on television. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, William Egan Sr.; children, Dinny (Jerry) Stopera, Dick (Mary Ann) Egan, Tim (Debbie) Egan, Patti Russell, Shawn Egan, Billy Egan Jr., and Jennifer (John) Hart; 19 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren, and sister, Phyllis Madden. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Joseph and Malven Aumiller, and granddaughter, Vickie. A recitation of the Rosary was held Thursday, June 17, in the David R. Jasin-Hoening Funeral Home. Funeral services will begin in the funeral home on Friday, June 18, with a prayer service, followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Hedwig Catholic Church. Interment was private. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Hedwig Catholic Church. William Charles Caselton, 91, of Toledo, died June 11, 2010, at St. Vincent’s Hospital. He was born on August 23, 1918, to Myrtle and William Caselton in his maternal grandmother’s home in Woodville, Ohio. Mr. Caselton was a lifelong resident of Point Place. He graduated from Point Place High School in 1936. He joined the United Church of Christ in 1936, when it was known as Point Place Congregational Church. He remained a member of the church throughout his life. He married Anne Perry on March 26, 1938. They recently celebrated their 72nd wedding anniversary. Mr. Caselton took a position at Strong Electric in 1940. He retired in 1983 after 43 years of service and many contributions in the engineering department of the company. He was an active, contributing member of the Point Place community. He treasured the community’s unique shore side beauty and the close-knit feeling of its neighborhoods. As a youth, he learned to sail and fish, avocations that he pursued throughout his life and shared with family and friends. He was committed to promoting the pleasure and camaraderie of sailing and helped to build the Jolly Roger Sailing Club in 1946. He is survived by his wife, Anne; grandson, Chad Kelsey; nieces, Jacqueline (Clint) Page and Carolyn (Talbert) Spence; nephews, Stephen Caselton and Jerry (Sharon) Schultz. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Susan Lindsey; sister, Ruth Schultz, and brother, Melvin Caselton. Edwin M. “Keetsie” Durfey, 73, of north Toledo, died unexpectedly in his home on Wednesday, June 2, 2010. He was born in 1937, in Toledo, to McKinley and Nora (Shinivar) Durfey. He served his country while in the Army. He was a 1954 graduate of Woodward High School. Mr. Durfey belonged to the Moose Lodge #1579, Outing Unlimited, was a life member of North Toledo Arrow Club, F.O.E. Aerie 197, and the United States Bowling Congress. He enjoyed fishing for walleye and perch at Indian River and at Coldwater, Michigan. He is survived by his daughter, Cindy (William) Dudley; special friend, Nancie Durfey; grandchildren, Marty (Heidi) Durfey and Roxanne (Joshua) Mohn; great-grandchildren, Natalie, and twins, Allysen and Avah Mohn; daughter-inlaw, Leticia Durfey of Texas; sister, Velma Barbara, and brothers, Robert Durfey and Fred (Sue) Durfey. Guth, 70, died Thursday, June 3, 2010, in his Point Place residence of 47 years. He was born in Toledo, to Orville and Mildred (Kreutzpeintner). He served his country in the United States Army. Mr. Guth worked for 30 years for G.M. Hydromatic, retiring in 1991. A NASCAR and racing enthusiast, he enjoyed spending time up north in the woods and spending time with his family. Mr. Guth is survived by his wife of 47 years, Mary Ellen (Kellermeier); sons, Jeffrey, John (Tammy), Mark (Connie), and Matthew (Rhiannon) Guth; grandchildren, Emily, Alyssa, Bobby, Samantha, and Sydney; brother, David; sisters, Sharon (Al) and Gloria (Jim). Henzler, 82, of north Toledo, died Sunday, May 30, 2010, while in Point Place Care and Rehabilitation Center. She was born in Toledo, to Herbert and Ethel (Reed) Parks in 1928. She worked as a decorator for Libby Glass then chose to be a homemaker. She later worked as general help at Henzler Print Shop. She was a devoted fisherman and enjoyed spending time at a cottage at Marble Lake. Her travels were extensive throughout the United States. She also enjoyed playing bingo, crocheting, and nature. She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Fred Henzler; children, John (Theresa) Hissa and Diane Henzler; grandchildren, Yon, Heather and Tavis Hissa; nieces, Pat Lewis, Gloria Peart and Diane Thomas; nephews, Butch and Mike Brighton, Albert Navarre, Jr., Garry Navarre and Timothy Navarre. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Dave and Don Parks, and her sisters, Mary Duckworth, Margery Navarre and Jean Pickett. Funeral services were held Thursday, June 3, at the David R. CATHERINE SEDLAR SHELLY DEILEY-IACOANGELI CAPTAIN MICHAEL ELSON AMELIA “EMILY” PRZYBYSZ Pamela “Pam” Sgro, 49, of Toledo, died Wednesday, May 26, 2010, at Perrysburg Care Center. She was born August 31, 1960, in Toledo, to Frank Hamblin and Beulah (Sammons) Hamblin. She enjoyed going to garage sales and thrift store shopping. She is survived by her sons, Stan (Sarah) Jr., Scotty (Lisa); grandchildren, Stan III, Holli, Brooke, Malakai, and Kalayah; siblings, Jimmie (Pattie), Carolyn (Fred) Wainscott, Doris Hayward, Larry, Donny (Becky), Ronnie (Cindy), Linda (Rick) Marshall, and Brenda, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Frank Hamblin. Visitation was held Friday, May 28, at the David R. Jasin-Hoening Funeral Home, where in lieu of services, friends and family were encouraged to share memories throughout the evening. Interment was private. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio. MARY SYREK MARY LEE Hwa Jah “Lee” Rowland died April 25, 2010. She enjoyed cooking, and retired from Raceway Park as the track kitchen manager. She is survived by her husband, James Rowland of Point Place; children, Jean Rowland-Poplawski, James (Kelly) Rowland Jr., Thomas (Paula) Rowland, Anthony (Tonia) Rowland, Dean (Kelly) Rowland; 23 grandchildren, and 11 greatgrandchildren. A private service for immediate family was held Friday, April 30, to honor her wish that those who knew her would hold her in their fond memories. A celebration of her life will be held in the summer for extended family and friends. Arrangements were made by the David R. Jasin- Hoening Funeral Home. She was born on March 27, 1911, to Lorenzo and Amelia (Picon) Manz. She married Frank Kott on November 11, 1933, and they had two children. He preceded her in death on February 23, 1958. She later married Albert Siciliano, who also preceded her in death. She worked for 42 years at the former Dana Corporation, retiring in 1971. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially the weekends at “The Cottage” along with her yearly vacations with her sisters and brothers-in-law. She also enjoyed enjoyed tending her flower garden. She is survived by her daughter, Nancy Leister; son, Robert (Gloria) Kott; seven grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and greatgreat- grandchildren, and brother, Vincent Manz. She also was preceded in death by her brothers, John and George Manz; sisters, Louise, Helen, Rose and Amelia, along with their spouses, and her special friend, James Stadler. (Rose) Lafferty, 76, born May 20, 1933, died Friday, April 23, 2010. She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Kenneth Lafferty Sr.; daughters, Karin (Bill) Lewis, Vicky Birner, Lori (John) Polcyn; sons, Keith (Kris) Lafferty and Kenneth (Dawn) Lafferty Jr.; 14 grandchildren; six greatgrandchildren; sisters, Vernadell Davis and Margaret McNett, and special friends, Shirley Lewis and Elaine Sumrel. RAYMOND AMBORSKI Fred Lisk, 80, of Point Place, died Friday, April 23, 2010, at Point Place Care and Rehabilitation Center. He was born in 1930, to Fred and Mary (Korn) Lisk in Toledo. He graduated from Woodward High School in 1948. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War. Mr. Lisk worked as a glass cutter for Libbey-Owens-Ford, where he retired in 1988 after 33 years of service. He enjoyed fishing, boating, hunting for small game, golfing, planting his vegetable garden and maintaining the beauty of his yard. During the late 1960s, he coached Pee Wee and Colt baseball. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Betty; children, Bruce and Sandra Lisk, and grandchildren, Justin, Paige and Amber. He was preceded in death by his son, Fred, in 1974. Box 2680, North Canton, Ohio 44720. JR. Joseph “Joe” F. Suchomma Jr., 66, of Point Place, died Tuesday, April 20, 2010, while in St. Vincent Mercy Medical Hospital. He was born in 1944, in Toledo, to Joseph Sr. and Jane (Doran) Suchomma. He graduated from Woodward High School in 1962, and served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. He worked for Jeep Corporation, where he became an inspector, then retired in 1999 after more than 37 years of service. Mr. Suchomma coached women’s softball for Tommy Clark’s Player’s Club and took the team to the nationals. He was a Cub Scout and Boy Scout leader and was known as the Girl Scout “Cookie Man.” He was the OhioReads Tutor at Ottawa River Elementary School and was known as a master gardener. He was a member of American Legion Post #646 in Holland, Ohio. He was an avid fan of Ohio State University, the Cleveland Browns, Detroit Tigers and Detroit Red Wings. Mr. Suchomma is survived by his wife of 40 years, Irene (Jones) Suchomma; children, Aaron, Brett (Michelle), and granddaughters, Brianna, Kiersten and Brittney. He was preceded in death by his son, Jason, in 1971, and his parents. Funeral services were held Friday, April 23, in the David R. Tributes may be made to the Leukemia Society. John B. Dent Jr., 83, of Point Place, died Sunday, April 11, 2010, at the Franciscan Care Center in Sylvania, Ohio. He was born in 1926 to John Sr. and Amelia (Frett) Dent in Chicago, Illinois. He served in the United States Navy during World War II. He belonged to Riverview Yacht Club, where he lived and worked in the boatyard. He was Associated Yacht Club treasurer, did yearbooks for the Club on his computer and ILYA. He also assisted with the race committee boat for the AYC regattas for more than 30 years. He is survived by his daughters, Terry (Thomas) Scott, and Rebecca Dent; grandchildren, Michael and Nicole, and three greatgrandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ellen, and daughter, Karen. Riverview Yacht Club and Blue Gavel services were held Wednesday, April 14, at the David R. Jasin- Hoening Funeral Home. He was born on December 25, 1926, in Detroit, Michigan, to Frank and Helen (Vandenberghe) Leruth. He graduated from Napoleon High School in 1944, and served in the United States Navy from 1944 to 1946. He was employed at the Willys- Overland plant while working his way through the University of Toledo, and graduated with a bachelor of science degree in civil engineering in 1953. He married Clara Wielfaert of Riga, Michigan, in 1954. He had a successful career as a civil engineer that included the founding of his own structural design firm, Leruth and Associates, in 1975. He was named Toledo Engineer of the Year in 1988, and was a past president of the Ohio Society of Professional Engineers and the Engineers Foundation of Ohio. His firm’s structural design for the administration building at the Davis Besse Nuclear Power Station was selected as one of the 10 outstanding engineering achievements in the nation in 1982. He enjoyed dancing with his wife, spending time with his grandchildren, having lunch at Spengler’s Café in his hometown of Napoleon, and long distance running, competing in the Columbus Marathon. Reva Eilene Truax, 73, of Toledo, died Sunday, April 11, 2010. She was born on February 11, 1937, in Warren, Ohio, to Quentin and Edith Boden. He was born in 1950, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to Thomas Edward Coyle and Bernice (Martindale) Coyle. He was a safety supervisor for 20 years in a AtoChem North America, and he owned Video Showcase, retiring in 1990. His interests included HAM radio, chasing tornados, building model planes and singing Gospel, music from the ’50s and in barbershop quartets. He enjoyed the NASCAR races and was a open wheel enthusiast and mechanic. He also enjoyed computer technology and fishing. Mr. Coyle is survived by his significant other, Bobbi Kohn; son, Brian (Darcie) Coyle; granddaughter, Emily Coyle, extended family; Scott (Ginnean) Kohn, Randy (Trish) Kohn, Carey and Bill Baker, “honorary” grandchildren; Lennon, Allison, Andrew, Joshua, Holly and Savannah, and special friends, Connie Steck and Lana and Frank Scharer. She was born in 1921, to Alex and Pearl (Sabo) Pocs in Helena, Ohio. Her parents were Hungarian immigrants, and she grew up on a farm with nine other siblings. She moved to Toledo, married Harold Ray, and they raised four children. She felt a compassion and love for animals which resulted in her becoming the caretaker of many strays throughout her life. She worked in various places, including Tiedtke’s Department Store, where she stayed until it closed. Ms. Ray is survived by her sons, Ron (Darlene) Ray and Hal (Pat) Ray; daughter, Deb (Don) Whiting; daughter-in-law, Betty Ray; grandchildren Marla, Tammy, Jennifer, David, Nancy, Cindy, Nick, Frank, Chris, and special grandson, Bryon; 20 great-grandchildren, including Mya and Anna, and sisters, Julia Nixon and Irene House. Lowdermilk Sr., 81, of the Point Place/Shoreland community, died Thursday, February 25, 2010, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio Perrysburg Center. He was born in 1928, to Gilbert and Bessie (Casteel) Lowdermilk, in Oakland, Maryland. He served in the United States Army in the 325th Glider Infantry Regiment during World War II, and in the 187th Regimental Combat Team during the Korean War. After the war, he became a truck driver for Roadway Express and worked there for 27 years, retiring in 1993. Mr. Lowdermilk is survived by his wife of 56 years, Juanita (Bowser); sons, George Jr. (Nancy), Gerald (Trisha), and Troy Lowdermilk; grandchildren, Gerald Lowdermilk, Alexei Resoff and Gwyneth Lowdermilk; brothers and sisters, Mabel Fulk, Joann Hershman, Harold and Robert Lowdermilk. He was preceded in death by his brothers and sisters, Thelma Kisner, Mary Kemphfer, Charles Lowdermilk, Gladys Lowdermilk and Dale Lowdermilk. There was no visitation, and all services were private. Starr Angela Varner, 65, died Sunday, February 28, 2010, in Dade City, Florida. She was one of eight children born to Homer and Nola “Mae” Mullins. NANCY LOAR LLOYD SHANK SYLVIA CLOSE Florence J. (Rahilly) Johnson, 89 of the Point Place/Shoreland Community, died Tuesday, January 26, 2010, in the Mercy St. Vincent Palliative Care Center. Born June 30, 1920, Mrs. Johnson lived in the Point Place/Shoreland Community her entire life. She was the daughter of James and Grace Rahilly. She graduated from the University of Toledo with honors, was a member of the Theta Psi (AOPi) and taught geography and English for many years at Shoreland Elementary. At Washington Junior High School, she helped students diagram sentences and write term papers for a total of 19 years. After the birth of her children, she and Janet Brewington began a preschool at RiverPoint Ministries United Methodist Church and taught the little ones there for 17 years. She enjoyed traveling throughout the United States as well as her trips to Germany and Ireland in 2000. Her family cottage on Lime Lake, New Hudson, Michigan, was another of her favorite places to be with her family and friends anytime of the year. Her two sisters and she enjoyed trips to the opera in Cleveland, Ohio. She lunched often with the “Point Place Girls.” She attended all of her high school reunions, the last being her 71st. She was a member of Point Place United Church of Christ for more than 50 years, where she taught Sunday school, helped with confirmation classes, served on many committees and sang in the choir. Mrs. Johnson is survived by her husband, Maynard; daughter, Kimberly (grandsons, Colin and Conor), and son, Todd; sister, Bonnie (John) Chilcote; nephews, Brett (Kara) Cunningham, Scott and Jay Johnson; nieces, Ayn Mazzeo, Kristin and Kate Johnson, and special greatnephew, John Strobel; extended family members, Chuck (Leslie) Geletzke, Abby, Chip, and Travis (Jennifer), Donna and Terry Serviss. JOZEPH HORVATH Rosemary Dunn, 90, of Point Place, died Tuesday, January 5, 2010, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg. She was born in Little Rock, Arkansas, to Lawrence and Rose (Blaty) Heisserer. She moved to the Toledo area in 1935. She worked as a switchboard operator and receptionist for WTVG for 30 years, retiring in 1992. She was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church. She enjoyed traveling with her family, visiting all of the Canadian provinces as well as every state in the United States, except for Hawaii. She also enjoyed reading and meeting with her monthly lunch group from St. Michael’s. Ms. Dunn is survived by her children, Marilyn Keip, William (Connie) Dunn; grandchildren, Brian Hansen, Scott Hansen, Kristin (Nick) Morris, John Keip, Michelle Keip and Averil (Steve) Burpee; sister, Jeanette (Phil) Taylor, and son-in-law, Craig Hansen.
