Kelly Nicole Reimer, daughter of Janet Koehn and Gene Reimer, both of Newton, Kansas, and Eric Burke, son of Kathy Burke of Perrysburg, and Michael Burke of the U.A.E., announce their engagement.
Kelly grew up in Newton, and graduated from the University of Kansas with a degree in business administration. She moved to Newport Beach, California, in 2001, and works as a financial analyst with Biosite, Inc.
Eric grew up in Perrysburg, and graduated from Perrysburg High School. He has been living in California since 1999, where he met Kelly while living in the Orange County community of Newport Beach. He is a commercial helicopter pilot with ERA Helicopters. He flies in the Gulf Coast two weeks during the month transporting people and property to the oil platforms.
A September 27, 2008, wedding at the First United Methodist Church in San Diego, is planned.
Eric and Kelly will be in Perrysburg for a bridal shower given by Eric’s mother and his sister-in-law, Jennifer Burke, on May 17.
